Last October, the 2-S students learned about Brownian Motion in English. Brownian motion is the random movement of small particles in a fluid. This December, students will continue learning about Brownian Motion by doing an experiment! They will look through a microscope and see Brownian Motion with their own eyes.
To prepare for this, I tested many types of different materials to try in the lab. For example, I tested paint, milk, mayonnaise, and many more. Some materials were unsuccessful, but I found many materials that showed Brownian Motion!
I am looking forward to this experiment with the students!
