理数科のNEWS

Mr. Matthew Kurtti, an ALT, gave a class all in English for the 2nd year science and mathematics class. He specializes in physics and taught using prints he created, based on the Pearson Baccalaureate physics textbook.

 

The lecture on Thursday, October 8th was about "the energy" and how mathematical formulas are a universal language.

 

 

 

Excitingly, the students listened to Mr. Kurtti's explanations and answered the questions in English.

 

The print exercises were also in English, but after the problems were solved, the students were thrilled to see if it was the correct answer. Students had a lot of fun learning and carefully explaining to classmates who did not understand.

 

 

 

Some students were having a hard time because it was a little more difficult to practice than last time, but they were trying to solve it while consulting with their classmates.

生徒たちは楽しく学び、クラスメートへ丁寧に説明したりしていました。

 

演習内容は、前回より少し難度が高めで苦戦している生徒もいましたが、クラスメートと相談しながら課題を解決していました。
